Yara Frias joined UCLA Facilities Management (FM) while completing her undergraduate degree and spent nearly two decades progressing through a range of accounting and finance roles. In 2026, she transitioned to Academic Planning & Budget (APB) as Senior Strategic Planning Analyst. Prior to this move, Yara held senior financial management responsibilities at FM, overseeing budget planning, financial analysis, and reporting. She holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree from UCLA. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her son and designing her own apparel.
