Hanyan Wang joined UCLA as Data Scientist for APB in April 2021. Before joining UCLA, Hanyan was the statistician in the Office of Institutional Research at East Carolina University. Hanyan earned his master’s degree in statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then, he has been keen on promoting student success through statistical analyses, data visualizations, and collaborations with campus stakeholders.
